Self- Isolation
Category : Entertainment, Excercise, Holiday, News, Stories
Since COVID-19 (Coronavirus) was declared a pandemic, we were told that it was best to self-isolate. Most schools are still open for those students who cannot stay home, where as others are fully closed.
It has been a month now and ‘homeschooling’ has had its pros and cons. We have had a lot of freedom in doing our work, but sometimes there were some distractions. Sticking to the timetable is kind of easy, but sometimes you will have to do some chores which would use a little bit of your time. Some practical subjects like Metalwork aren’t capable of being done in your household unless you have the materials.
If you start to get bored try…
– Exercising ( You can run, walk, job, bicycle ride, scooter ride, do reps or play a game in your backyard)
– Read a book ( Now is the perfect time to get into the habit of reading!)
– Play board games (Find those old board games that you haven’t played for so long and bring them out, this is a perfect opportunity to connect with your family!)
– Connect with your friend and family ( All though we can’t physically see our friends, grandparents, uncles, aunties and cousins we can definitely see them
I would like to take the time to thank the teachers/ principal’s who are putting effort into conducting lessons, also the Government who are doing the best they can to keep our country safe, the nurses/ doctors/ healthcare workers who are making sure that patients are being taken
Stay safe and we will get through this!
