My School Exursion To Maritime Museum
Category : News, Excursions, Reviews
I’m learning at school the First Fleet and our teachers organised a trip to the Maritime Museum.
Today on the 21st of March 2017 I went to the Sydney Australian National Maritime Museum for my School excursion.
This morning when I woke up I got ready and went to school. When my dad dropped me I went to the 3-6 quad and met the teachers. When everyone came we went on the bus. On the bus, I sat next to Romeen and we talked a lot. When we arrived we sat near the front of the museum. Then our guards came to talk to us about what we are going to do. Then got into groups and went with one of the guards. The first thing we did was go on to the Endeavour (captain Cooks ship).
First, we looked the front of the ship and then the back and finally the bottom of the boat. At the front, there was two acres and a flag. The back of the boat had no stuff but the string wheel. Now the bottom of the ship, there was lots of rooms and one of them was Captain Cooks and Joseph Banks study room.
After that, we went inside the museum and saw boats and a really big axe. Then we had recess and after that, we watched a movie about a ship. After the movie, we went on another ship called vampire ship. It had lots of things like canons, rooms, cafes, computer and workshops. Then we went back to the museum and looked at the things we didn’t see. Finally that we had lunch and after lunch, we went on the bus and went to school.
I had a really fun time looking at all the really cool stuff but my favourite was being on the Endeavour.
